Ok, so I admit it. I am a Star Wars junkie. I love everything Star Wars. I remember when I was a kid and drug my Mom to episode 4, 5 and 6. I never dreamed my kids would still be into this stuff, but boy are they!

Let's break down the plot for a moment. Star Wars is based on the primary struggle between good and evil. The dark vs. the light. It is the story of the good guys coming out ahead with a twist, right? Well, I find it absolutely amazing that you can have a 20 gap between films and pick up right where you left off. I was not a huge fan of Episode 1 just because it did not move enough for me. It was something that had to be done though, as it laid the groundwork for the rest of the series.

And Anakin, how about this guy? The actor who depicted him as a teen ager and young adult was awesome. There were not times where you just wanted to smack this guy? He was too good to listen to anyone and was stubborn and just about as arrogant as he could be. I have had friends like this (and they could probably say the same about me)

But who was the main character of the saga? The easy answer is Anakin because of episode 3 and his transition to the dark side. I would have to say Yoda. You know why? Because he is the coolest? I remember the theater going NUTS when that little green dude got out his light saber and started throwing down in Episode 2!

I guess the thing that is the most impressive about the Star Wars series is that it is truly ageless and timeless. I have a feeling that 15 – 20 years from now when I am playing with my grandkids they will be playing with their lightsabres and talking about Obi Won Kenobi.

My favorite movie of all time. Watch them all if you have not already. You will learn a life lesson if you pay attention.
